Dear past SRSD Faculty and Staff,
In anticipation for the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS) refund of the 3% Healthcare deductions, we are asking for updated contact information for former employees of the district who were employed during the period of July 2010 to September 2012.
If you are currently employed by the school district, please do not submit your information as we already have that on file. If your address has not changed since you retired or resigned, no update is required. Additionally, if you have kept the ORS updated with your current address, you do not need to update with us as the ORS will provide the address they have on file for you.
Once ORS sends the district additional information, we will be processing refunds to those employees impacted. There is currently no date set for when this refund will be processed, but we will process these refunds as soon as we can.
The anticipated disbursement date from ORS to the District is January 22, 2018. The state has created a website with FAQ, which can be found here: http://www.michigan.gov/orsschools/0,4653,7-206-36609-456119–,00.html
