Athletics

South Redford Schools has a thriving and competitive athletics program, with over 20 different sports offered. We are a member of the Western Wayne Athletic Conference, which includes Belleville, Dearborn Heights, Dearborn, Garden City, Inkster, Clarenceville, Redford Union, and Romulus.

All students must have a current physical form on file in order to play. The form must be dated on or after April 15 of the current school year in order to be valid (e.g. after April 15, 2014 for the 2014-2015 school year.)

Elementary Schools

The Redford Township Junior Athletic Association, or RTJAA, has a proud history of serving the suburban Detroit area for over 50 years. RTJAA provides a unique environment of developmental teaching as well as competitive play and is widely recognized as one of the area’s best organizations for youth basketball. The league is open to all children regardless of experience, skill level or ability. The league provides a fun family based environment for everyone, from the first time player to experienced future star.
