Attending School Matters Challenge!
We have learned that students who miss even a few days of school each month are at far greater risk of academic failure and dropping out that students who attend regularly. To bring attention to the importance of attending school, we ask you to join our Township Campaign.
Did you know…
Irregular attendance can have several damaging effects on students, including: Increased likelihood of negative academic outcomes Possible increase in problems with behavior and social-emotional aspects of the school Increased risk of negative behaviors and activities outside school.
Your child received a challenge card last week from their 6th hour teacher. We ask you to discuss the points on this card, keep the top for yourself and have your child return the bottom portion to school.
