MS4 - Storm Water Management Program

South Redford School District operates under a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit issued by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). This permit requires the District to reduce pollutants in stormwater runoff and provide public education on stormwater protection. Storm drains on District property discharge directly to the Rouge River watershed and ultimately the Great Lakes.
