What should my child be doing during this time in terms of academics?
While South Redford Public Schools are closed following Governor Whitmer’s announcement, there are many opportunities for students to continue their learning at home. South Redford School District is providing resources for students to exercise their minds and stay sharp while they are out of school. These resources are NOT required for students and participation will not impact their grades.
You will find daily schedules/routines, tips for staying healthy, and educational resources tailored to specific grade levels. We have included tools to help you explain to your child(ren) why they cannot return to school or may be prohibited from their normal activities.

What is the plan for families without a computer?
In order to further support our families, we are providing Chromebooks to those students who do not have an Internet-accessible device.
Details:

- Pick up will take place on Friday, April 3, 2020 between 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- There will be no access to school buildings and Chromebooks will be distributed using curbside pickup.
- The Chromebook Request Form can be completed using a cell phone, tablet, or computer.
- If you require more than one Chromebook, they must be picked up at a single location. You can indicate which school you will pick them up from in the Chromebook Request Form.
What can my family be doing to manage stress and anxiety?
